The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree but would like to pursue a degree in nursing. The Accelerated BSN program will be available for admission in April 2017.
The nursing courses may be completed in six quarters. Additional core courses may be required depending on the academic history of each student. The core requirements for this program were designed to maximize the application of previously earned credits toward this degree.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job opportunities for nurses are expected to grow 16 percent by 2024 – which is much faster than the national average for all occupations.
The BSN Accelerated program serves both traditional and nontraditional students and offers opportunities to enhance the community’s health care through participatory learning experiences. It also builds on a foundation of liberal arts education, establishing the knowledge base and clinical expertise for the generalist in nursing practice.
Now is the time to begin your journey in this exciting field where you can help make a difference in the lives of your patients!
