The Medical Assisting Certificate Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org),25400 US Highway N, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763, (727) 210-2350, upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).

The five-year weighted average for placement and employer satisfaction of the Certificate Medical Assisting  program at South College-Asheville Learning Site, Asheville, North Carolina is 83% and 100% respectively, based on the most recent Annual Report Form submitted to the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
