Dr. Freeman has 13 years of pharmacy experience in both retail and hospital settings. As a community pharmacist at Kroger, Dr. Freeman offered state of the art pharmaceutical and medication management services to patients and families. As an Emergency Department Pharmacist Specialist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Dr. Freeman offered a unique training experience to pharmacy students and residents in the areas of pulmonary and critical care medicine with exposure to patients in the Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Level 1 Trauma Unit, Neuro ICU, Emergency Department, and the Stroke Unit. Students practiced within the framework of pharmacy consultation services offered by Dr. Freeman to physicians and other healthcare providers. Dr. Freeman participated in many hospital committees and programs such as the Emergency Management CSR Team, Learning Management System Review Team, Pharmacy Strategic Cost Reduction Team, and Pharmacy Education Committee.
