Mark E. Lehman
Dr. Lehman received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky, where he also completed a three-year residency. He then joined the faculty of the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia College of Pharmacy where he attained the rank of Associate Professor, while also being Associate Director of Pharmacy Services, Clinical Division for the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals.
After a stint in Scientific Affairs for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dr. Lehman was named the Chief Clinical Officer for Omnicare, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of pharmacy and consulting services for long-term care facilities, servicing at that time over 850,000 beds.
He then joined Johnson & Johnson as Janssen’s Director of Scientific Affairs, Geriatrics/LTC and over the past ten years held various leadership positions in J&J Scientific Affairs as well as leading the account management teams for the Long Term Care, Medicare Part D and the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) channels.
His area of clinical practice and research is Geriatrics and appropriate drug therapy in the elderly.
