Alicia N. Potter
Dr. Alicia Potter currently serves as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at South College, School of Pharmacy. She attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2005 – 2008 to complete her pre-pharmacy curriculum. Dr. Potter graduated from The University of Tennessee, College of Pharmacy in 2012 and gained extensive community pharmacy experience as an intern throughout the entirety of her pharmacy curriculum. After graduating from The University of Tennessee, College of Pharmacy, Dr. Potter completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2013. During her residency, Dr. Potter completed research evaluating antiplatelet therapy utilized in intracranial stenting procedures. She achieved her teaching certification through the Teaching and Learning Program at The University of Tennessee, College of Pharmacy while completing her residency training. As a resident, she took great interest in emergency medicine and piloted a program to increase pharmacist involvement in the emergency department. Dr. Potter joined South College, School of Pharmacy in July 2013 and serves as the Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
