Kellie has many years of healthcare experience with a focus on outpatient and inpatient pharmacy. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician for 15 years, she has worked in both community and hospital settings. Kellie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Memphis. She has a strong working knowledge with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system including pharmacy, lab, and patient progress notes. She participated in all aspects of pharmacy activities including IV admixture, pharmaceutical compounding, automated dispensing cabinets, controlled drugs monitoring, and inventory management. Kellie’s focus on improving patient outcomes is demonstrated by her involvement in direct patient care activities such as participation in code blue, reconciliation of home medication, and playing an active role in patient safety/risk management as well as hospital customer service committees.
